Rubber Agroforestry for Sustainability Foundation (RAFS) has been established since June 30, 2021 as a platform of academics, researchers and business persons with shared purposes of supporting small-scale rubber farmers to promote their sustainability in economic and social dimensions, as well as food security. It emphasizes on proactive participation through the working process with the rubber farmers.The objectives are 1) to develop and disseminate knowledge sets of agroforestry rubber management systems by integrating academic knowledge with farmers' wisdom, 2) to promote the participatory development of networks of rubber farmers in agroforestry, and 3) to mainstream the knowledge and lessons learned about the development of agroforest rubber plot management into policy recommendations for the sustainability of farmers and ecosystems.
